One number, 24 hours
Call or text (844) 543-5757. A dispatcher answers at any hour, takes your address, what happened, whether the fire department has released the house and whether you can stay there, and routes a board-up crew the same night and an assessment crew the next morning. You are told the realistic arrival windows on the phone.
Who shows up
An independent restoration contractor registered with the Washington Department of Labor & Industries, carrying the liability insurance and bond the state requires, and equipped for board-up, smoke and soot cleanup, drying, contents and reconstruction. Before the crew arrives you receive the contractor's business name and L&I registration number, which you can look up yourself at the L&I contractor verification site. The contractor's crew works under a written authorization you sign with them.
What it costs you
On covered claims, nothing upfront. The contractor documents the loss, submits an estimate to your insurer in Xactimate and bills the insurer directly. You pay your policy deductible, as your policy states, and nothing else for covered work. Washington law prohibits any contractor from waiving or absorbing your deductible, and we will never suggest otherwise.
If a loss is not covered, which is rare with fire but can involve excluded causes or lapsed coverage, the crew tells you so on the first visit and gives you a written estimate before any chargeable work begins. You decide.
Homeowners never pay Help Me Now Inc anything. Our arrangement is with the contractor.
What we do and do not do
We answer the phone, dispatch, coordinate access and scheduling, and follow up on your request. We do not perform restoration work, we are not a party to your contract with the contractor, and we are not an insurance company; coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy. Information on this site about insurance is general guidance about how standard Washington policies usually work, not advice about your policy.
Why this exists
Help Me Now Inc runs local service lines like this one so that a homeowner with a fire behind you reaches a competent, registered contractor on the first call, with honest expectations about response and coverage. The contractor gets work; you get the house secured tonight and a claim file an adjuster can approve. That is the whole model.
